A Big Celebration, Built for a Kosher Crew

These aren't small self-catering catamarans — they're 39–49 metre crewed superyachts, from intimate boutique boats to full resort-scale vessels, the kind used for milestone family reunions, b'nei mitzvah trips, and reunions of old friends who finally want the whole week together. We arrange full kosher supervision and a kashered galley on board, and build the calendar around Shabbat instead of around it.

5 Days, or a Full 7

Three yachts run a five-night week, Sunday to Friday, everyone ashore well before Shabbat. Five others run mid-week to mid-week, so Shabbat falls in the middle of the charter — a full seven nights, spent together aboard. See which is which below.

Your Group — Or Good Company

Most charters are whole-yacht exclusives — just your group and crew, nobody else aboard. When we do sell by the cabin, we match like-minded guests, all part of the same kosher-observant community.

Kosher, Properly Done

Supervision through GOK Global Orthodox Kosher, headed by Rabbi Dr. Oren Duvdevani. A dedicated Kosher Sailing crew member sails with you for the week to assist and supervise the kashrut — using one of the yacht's own cabins, which is why our guest counts below run one cabin below each yacht's full brochure capacity.

Two Ways to Charter — 5 Days or 7

Trip length depends on the yacht. Three run a five-night, Sunday-to-Friday week; five run mid-week to mid-week, which means a full seven nights is possible, with Shabbat spent together aboard, at anchor or in a marina. Either way, the whole trip — not just the sailing — is planned around Shabbat.

The 5-Day Charter

Premier · Yolo · Roko

Board Sunday morning, disembark Friday afternoon — five full days at sea, with everyone ashore, showered, and ready well before candle-lighting. No sailing, anchoring, or engine on Shabbat.

Before

Optional: arrive a few days early for Shabbat in Zagreb, with a Plitvice Lakes stop on the drive down to the coast.

Sun–Fri

Five days sailing the coast on Premier, Yolo, or Roko — full crew, kosher kitchen, and the islands, coves, and towns along the route. See example routes below.

After

Disembark Friday afternoon. Stay on to explore Croatia at your own pace, or let us arrange a second Shabbat in Croatia or elsewhere in Europe.

The 7-Day Charter

Freedom · Cristal · Ohana · Maxita · Olimp · Queen Eleganza

These six run mid-week to mid-week, so Shabbat falls in the middle of the charter itself — spent together at anchor in a quiet bay or alongside in a marina, full crew and kosher kitchen.

Midweek

Board and start sailing — the first few days cover the coves, islands, and towns on your route.

Shabbat

The yacht settles at anchor or in a marina before Shabbat and stays through Havdalah — no sailing, everyone together aboard.

Midweek

Sailing resumes after Shabbat for the second half of the route, disembarking mid-week.

Life Aboard

A feel for the standard across the fleet — comfortable interiors, private cabins, and a full menu of water toys off the swim platform every afternoon.

Two Ways to Sail

A one-way, point-to-point charter covers more coastline than an out-and-back week — Split–Zadar is a 5-day route (the 7-day fleet adds two Shabbat days to the same stops); Split –Dubrovnik is shown here as the full 7-day version, with a shorter version available for the 5-day fleet. Both are indicative; your captain will adjust for weather and your group's pace, and the exact stops are confirmed closer to your dates.

Day 5

On the 7-day fleet, two extra days are worked into this same route around Shabbat, spent at anchor or in a marina.

Mljet National ParkA quieter day at anchor near Mljet's saltwater lakes, most of the island covered in pine forest — a good stop for swimming and slower pace.
Day 6
The Elaphiti IslandsA string of small, quiet islands just off Dubrovnik — sheltered anchorages and beaches, with the city itself visible on the horizon.
Day 7
Into DubrovnikArrive at Dubrovnik's Old City walls, with time to explore before disembarkation.

Shown as the full 7-day itinerary. On the 5-day fleet, a shorter version of this same route applies — tell us your priorities among these stops and we'll build the five-day version around them.

Prefer to start or end somewhere else? Both routes can run in reverse, and other combinations (Split round-trip, Dubrovnik round-trip, and more) are available — tell us your preference when you enquire.

A Fleet to Choose From

We have access to a number of superyachts across Croatia, available from mid-April through the end of October 2027, with more becoming available as the calendar fills in. The nine below — Freedom, Ohana, Roko, Yolo, Cristal, Maxita, Premier, Olimp, and Queen Eleganza — are current examples across different price points and group sizes, but not the whole list. Tell us your dates and guest count and we'll match you to the right yacht from the full fleet.

Figures shown are each yacht's final 2027 low-season whole-yacht weekly rate and low-season "as low as, per person" price at double occupancy, inclusive of VAT, full board, expenses and gratuity. Every yacht runs higher in peak season (see each yacht's card above for the full range. Per-person figures are a planning indicator, not a guarantee of your group's actual cost. "5-Day" runs Sunday to Friday; "7-Day" runs mid-week to mid-week with Shabbat spent aboard, at anchor or in a marina — see "Two Ways to Charter" above for how each works. All eight yachts are available from mid-April through the end of October 2027 (availability vary by yacht). Ask us for the exact quote for your dates and group size.

These Weeks Go Fast

These yachts, and the others in our fleet, are shared across international charter brokers, not held exclusively for Kosher Sailing — which means a date you like this month can be gone by next month. The 2027 season runs mid-April through the end of October, and July–August fills first. If you have a milestone birthday, anniversary, or family reunion in mind, the sooner we check the calendar together, the more 5- and 7-day weeks we'll still have to offer you.

Check Dates Before They're Gone

Good to Know

When can we sail?

We're now booking for Summer 2027 and 2028. Across the fleet, yachts are available from mid-April through the end of October 2027, with July and August the most requested (and first to fill) window.

Are Freedom, Ohana, Roko, Yolo, Cristal, Maxita, Premier, Queen Eleganza and Olimp the only yachts available?

No — these nine are examples from a wider fleet we have access to across Croatia. If none of them fits your group size, budget, or dates, tell us what you need and we'll send other options.

Why is the guest count lower than the yacht's brochure capacity?

One cabin on every yacht is reserved for a dedicated Kosher Sailing crew member who sails with you for the week to assist with logistics and supervise the kashrut. So a yacht built for, say, 14 cabins sails your charter with 13 available for guests. The per-person prices on this page are calculated against that reduced, guest-only cabin count.

Are these yachts normally kosher?

No — like all of our superyacht partners, these vessels aren't permanently kosher, so for your charter we arrange for the galley to be kashered and for GOK Global Orthodox Kosher supervision under Rabbi Dr. Oren Duvdevani, with our onboard crew member supporting throughout the week.

What's the difference between the 5-day and 7-day charters?

It comes down to the yacht. Premier, Yolo, and Roko run Sunday to Friday — nobody's sailing, anchoring, or running the engine on Shabbat, so you board Sunday morning and disembark Friday afternoon with plenty of time to be settled ashore before candle-lighting. Freedom, Cristal, Ohana, Maxita, and Olimp run mid-week to mid-week instead, which puts Shabbat in the middle of the charter — so we can offer a full seven nights, with Shabbat spent together aboard, at anchor or in a marina. Neither option involves sailing on Shabbat; they just place it differently.

What are the two example routes, and can we choose a different one?

Split–Zadar heads north through the Kornati and Telašćica national parks — a 5-day route, with the 7-day fleet working two extra days around Shabbat into the same stops. Split–Dubrovnik heads south through Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Ston, Mljet, and the Elaphiti Islands — shown as the full 7-day version, with a shorter route available for the 5-day fleet. Both are one-way, point-to-point routes rather than out-and-back weeks, so you see more coastline. Either route can run in reverse, and other combinations (round-trip from Split or Dubrovnik, for example) are available — tell us your preference.

What happens after we disembark, on the 5-day charters?

Whatever suits your group. Many guests stay on in Croatia to explore at their own pace before heading home. If you'd prefer, we can also organize a second Shabbat for the group — either in Croatia or elsewhere in Europe — so the trip has a proper close. On the 7-day charters, Shabbat is already built into the week aboard, so this is entirely optional extra time.

Do we have to fill every cabin?

No. Most charters are booked as a whole-yacht exclusive, so a small family or group taking a smaller yacht has the entire boat to themselves for the week, the same as a large group on a bigger one. On the charters we do sell by the cabin, every guest aboard is part of our kosher sailing community — never a stranger from a general charter site.

What's included in the price, and what isn't?

The weekly rate covers the yacht, crew, VAT, full board, port fees, expenses and a gratutity.

Please provide some details and we’ll be in touch to discuss your requirements.
